The Alumni Council Executive Committee (ACEC) is the governing leadership body of the Alumni Council. It is made up of committee chairs and officers. The scope of the work of the Alumni Council and its committees is broad and offers a variety of opportunities to engage in the way most aligned with your interests and experience.

Admission Committee
Chair: Alexandria Van Voris '16
The Admission Committee oversees the creation of opportunities for alumni to assist the Office of Admission in recruiting talented student to the university. Alumni volunteers will work with the admission staff during both the fall and the spring by helping staff college fairs, and by attending admission programs. The Committee also leads the Postcards to Admits project.
Affinities Committee
Chair: Brittany Henderson '03
The Affinities Committee provides volunteer leadership for the university's efforts to engage alumni and students along lines of affinity (identity-based affinities and shared-interest affinities). The committee facilitates the connection of alumni with each other based on their shared experiences while at Puget Sound, and leads initiatives aimed to connect current students with their alumni counterparts for mentorship, support, and engagement.
Athletics Committee
Chair: Alika Antone '00, DPT'05
The Athletics Committee leads efforts to broadly engage Logger athletes across generations. Alumni are involved in programming that directly supports current student-athletes. This committee works with the athletics department, current coaches, and the office of alumni and parent relations to pursue optimal ways to support current student-athletes and to celebrate the accomplishments of alumni athletes.
Career Development & Mentorship Committee

The Career Development & Mentorship Committee is a group of Puget Sound alumni who, through development of programs and personal involvement, foster a culture in which alumni are readily available to support students' exploration and pursuit of careers. This group operates as an alumni advisory body for mentorship programs and opportunities at Puget Sound, to provide the alumni perspective in alumni-student mentorship strategies, and the shape alumni-to-alumni mentorship.
Class Community Committee

The Class Community Committee is a group of volunteers who serve in the combined efforts of class-year based engagement - fundraising and outreach - leading up to and during the milestone reunion years of Logger alumni. It is operationalized through a network of class volunteers who lead peer-to-peer communication focused on promoting and increasing engagement, and community building among classes.
Digital Engagement & Communications Committee
Chair: Julie Gates '90
The Digital Engagement & Communications Committee leads the execution of the Alumni Council's communications strategies and its core philosophies. The committee works to raise awareness of and promote the importance of the ACEC and the Alumni Council among the Logger alumni and university community. Additionally, the group proves leadership and advice on the digital alumni experience, examining the role of traditional engagement and digital engagement within broader alumni relations programming.
Future & Young Alumni Committee
Co-Chairs: Chessie Bolt '27 (Maroon Society President) & Gabi Marrese '19 (Recent Grad)
This committee is charged bolstering the student-to-alum experience arc at Puget Sound. It focuses on creating connections between current students and alumni through programming and mentorship. This group serves to implement a comprehensive plan to build awareness among students of their identity as future alumni, and to introduce students to the alumni community, and the Alumni Council. Made of up young alumni (0-5 years out) and student members, this committee leads the charge in developing and nurturing a consciousness among students of engagement, so that they are more likely to be engaged as alumni. The committee would be co-chaired by a recent graduate and the Maroon Society president. At the committee level will sit six additional current student leaders: Maroon Society Vice President, and a Maroon Society team lead, ASUPS Director of Clubs and Student Interests, ASUPS Vice President, ASUPS Junior Class Senator, and ASUPS Senior Class Senator. These six current students will be joined at the committee level by six recent graduates.
Leadership Development & Awards Committee (also serves as VP)
Chair: Erin Carlson '04
This committee is responsible for overseeing the Alumni Awards process, including nomination, selection, and celebration. It also partners with the university in the identification, nomination, and on-boarding of new ACEC members. In this way, the committee owns leadership development and pipeline building for the ACEC from Alumni Council and beyond. The Alumni Council Vice President will serve as chair of this committee. The Alumni Council President will also serve on this committee.
Regional Clubs Committee
Chair: Sam Egan '14
This committee fosters and strengthens connections between the University of Puget Sound, and alumni. Each regional club aims to increase alumni participation with local Puget Sound alumni and the larger Puget Sound community, via an online presence, activities and events, and general engagement with the the university.
