Rachel Sugar ’16

Rachel Sugar ’16 was active in the community even as a student at Puget Sound, where she volunteered with Puget Sound Big Siblings and did an internship at El Centro de la Raza cultural center in Seattle. After graduation she worked as a legal advocate for YWCA of Pierce County, then in a similar role with The Family Tree in Denver, before earning a law degree from Seattle University. She is now a staff attorney with Tacomaprobono Community Lawyers, working particularly on its Housing Justice Project.
