PeopleSoft HR contains quite a bit of information about your pay and benefits. Please follow the instructions below to access information in PeopleSoft HR.

TO LOG IN TO PEOPLESOFT HR

  • Go to https://my.pugetsound.edu/
  • Log in to myPugetSound using your username and password (if you need help with your username or password, please contact the Technology Services Help Desk at extension 8585)
  • Under Puget, Sound Systems select PeopleSoft Human Resources.
  • Log in to PeopleSoft HR using your username and password.

Once you have logged in to PeopleSoft HR, follow the steps below to update your personal information, locate information about your pay and leave balances, view required trainings, and more. To add a menu item to your favorites, click "Add to Favorites" on the top right side of the screen.

UPDATING YOUR CHOSEN NAME AND PRONOUNS

For Faculty:
Log in to my.pugetsound.edu and click on myPS > HR Salary and Benefits (tile) > Chosen Name and Pronouns

For Staff:
Log in to my.pugetsound.edu and click on myPS > HR Staff Resources > Chosen Name and Pronouns

PAY INFORMATION

  • Main Menu
  • Self Service
  • Payroll and Compensation
  • View Paycheck
  • Click on the check date for the pay advice you wish to view

STAFF LEAVE BALANCES

  • Main Menu
  • Self Service
  • Time Reporting
  • Report Time
  • Timesheet

At the bottom, click the arrow on “Leave and Compensatory Time Balances,” and the “Recorded Balance” column lists your sick, vacation, and floating holiday balances and, if you are a non-exempt staff member, your personal business appointments leave balance. Keep in mind that if you have pre-populated any leave in your timesheet that hasn’t yet been taken, that will impact the numbers you see on this particular screen.
