Please let us know about your scholarships so that we may include them on your billing invoice. You can report your scholarships by sending a copy of the scholarship letter to the address below.

Changes to financial aid awards

 

Your financial aid offer from Puget Sound may change if you receive additional scholarships;  It all depends on your level of demonstrated financial need based on your FAFSA and the amount of need-based financial aid that is already in your financial aid package when the new scholarships are added.  

If financial aid has to be reduced, we reduce loans and work offers first, so that you retain as much gift aid as possible. Reductions in need based financial aid occur in the following order

  1. Stafford/Direct Loan (Subsidized)
  2. Perkins Loan
  3. Work-Study
  4. Puget Sound Grant programs

Puget Sound grant programs are university need-based awards and will be reduced in a financial aid package if the total amount of all scholarships combined with the grant assistance exceeds your level of demonstrated financial need.

Verification of enrollment

Many organizations require a student to provide verification of their enrollment before sending the scholarship funds. Please send verification requests to:
