ENGL 329 | Advanced Creative Nonfiction

This course assumes a familiarity with creative nonfiction, for example, memoir, travel literature, the literary essay, investigative journalism, and style guides and published essays as models of technique and to gain familiarity with a variety of sub-genres. The resulting textual and formal analyses students' own approaches to writing nonfiction prose. Throughout the semester, students engage in process writing and peer review.
