The Office of Institutional Equity and Diversity is proud to present this documentary by Oscar nominated director Stanley Nelson which tells the story of how a man born into slavery became one of the most prominent statesmen and influential voices for democracy in American History. Following the screening we will have 30 minutes for a moderated discussion. This event is FREE and is a premier showing as this documentary has not yet been released to PBS streaming services.
