Sociologists and anthropologists study how systems of power intersect with gender, race, age, and class; however, only occasionally do we discuss how these vectors of identity matter during fieldwork. Join Professor Yu Luo for a discussion examining how we as fieldworkers navigate our own positions in the field and handle interpersonal interactions given the uneven power relations we have with our informants.
