Exhibit Reception - In The Flow: Art Ecology and Pedagogy

The Flow Art & Ecology Symposium on November 3 & 4 and the concurrent gallery exhibit, In the Flow, brings together community partners, educators, and students from the Salish Sea and the Columbia Basin to share material and place-based knowledge practices and understandings of how to listen and learn from local ecologies.

Taiwan Week Taiwan Studies Panel

Each of the three panelists is asked to speak for 20 minutes from their area of expertise regarding some issue (or constellation of issues) regarding Taiwan, followed by 20 minutes of discussion and Q&A with the audience.  

Two invited guest speakers affiliated with the Taiwan Studies Program at University of Washington:

  • Dr. Jeff Hou, Professor of Landscape Architecture, Director of Urban Commons Lab
  • Dr. Yen-Chu Weng, Lecturer from the Program on the Environment
