ASUPS established the Green Fee in 2013 and the Expressions Fund in 2016. The Green Fee supports campus community members seeking to implement projects improving campus sustainability and promoting environmental justice. The Expressions Fund supports campus community members seeking to implement projects promoting equity, inclusivity, and cultural consciousness.

Both funds are open to all individuals, clubs, organizations, and departments. They are funded by students, for students; 1.5% of the student government fee is allocated to the Green Fee, and 2.0% is directed to the Expressions Fund (ASUPS Financial Code Article II, Section 3, D-E)

You can request funding through the Green Fee and Expressions Fund Request Form

Hoping to get Grizz for an event?! Fill out the Grizz Request Form at least one week prior to the event to have Grizz as a guest appearance!

Save a trip off campus and visit the ASUPS vending machine when in need of basic over-the-counter medication and health essentials.

The ASUPS vending machine is located on the second floor of the Wheelock Student Center across the hall from CHWS, WSC-216. You are able to pay using a card or cash but please note, it only takes 1 and 5 dollar bills. If you have any questions or recommendations about the contents of the machine feel free to stop by the ASUPS office in WSC-210.

ORCA stands for "One Regional Card For All" and is a Sound Transit program that provides fares for bus, train, lightrail, and ferry transportation. ASUPS covers the cost for the fares so it is FREE to you!

ORCA cards can be checked out from the main ASUPS office in Wheelock 210. We have a limited number of cards available to students and are often closed for meetings or events, so cannot guarantee the availability of cards. Cards are checked out on a first-come, first-served basis. Every student may check out a card up to 5 times each semester. Cards are not available during school breaks or holidays. Each submittal of the form counts as one ASUPS ORCA card use. ASUPS ORCA cards are available to students only. Student use includes any individual fee-paying student or group of students from the University of Puget Sound for recreational or academic purposes, living groups such as residence halls, Greek chapters, or on-campus houses, or for any organization recognized or registered by ASUPS, or any ASUPS department. Only fee-paying students are allowed to use the ASUPS ORCA cards. Use is free for the first 2 business days; however, a $1 late fee is charged each additional day after the designated return date. In order for the ORCA card to be considered returned, the card must be received back in the ASUPS Office by closing. You are welcome to return the card under the office door if we are closed. Failure to return your card on time will result in an additional $1 charge per day.

All lost or damaged cards will result in a $10.00 replacement charge, payable by cash or credit/debit in the ASUPS Office. ASUPS attempts to put at least $7 on each card before it is sent out. The ASUPS ORCA card is valid to use with the following service providers: Community Transit, Everett Transit, King County Metro Transit, Kitsap Transit, Pierce Transit, Sound Transit, and the Washington State Ferry System, up to the amount loaded on the card. ASUPS is, unfortunately, unable to guarantee that your total transportation fee will be covered; you may be required to add additional funds.

You can find the ORCA Card form here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfS5l66-vz36SCf_3Sq-ew9P-mXzRJen4EEte7w0qaZTpKn_g/viewform?usp=sf_link

For bulk requests please contact asups@pugetsound.edu to ensure we have the proper quantity to accommodate your request.

Currently, ASUPS has two vans available for rent, a Kia Sedona and Toyota Sienna. They can seat up to 7 people.

Once you have completed your reservation and payment (if applicable), you will be given a Security Key Card to allow you to pick up keys from Security. The ASUPS van is parked in Parking Lot #1, and must be returned to its parking spot by the contracted day/time, or will incur additional days' fees.

How can I check out an ASUPS Van?

First, contact the ASUPS Office by email, call 253.879.3600, or drop by in person to see if a van is available for your requested dates. Once a reservation has been made, fill out and submit this application, then pick up the Security Key Card from the ASUPS Office that will allow you to pick up the van keys from the Security Department. Van keys are only available during your reservation times; do not attempt to pick up keys earlier than your reservation. In addition, as other students may also have reservations, please return your keys on time.
