Puget Sound's club sports are non-varsity teams that often compete against other schools, requiring a slightly higher level of skill and commitment. Our dynamic club sports program includes diverse options such as rugby, ultimate frisbee, kayaking, and cycling, catering to students who are passionate and competitively inclined.

Intramural sports at Puget Sound are a great way to have fun and compete with friends, regardless of your skill level. Unlike varsity and club sports, intramurals are open to everyone on campus, not just students. They offer a variety of sports activities throughout the year, so you can find something you'll enjoy. Whether you want to play your favorite sport or try something new, intramurals are a perfect way to get involved in campus life.

After World War II, construction commenced on a new fieldhouse that would not only meet the college’s needs but be a civic auditorium for the City of Tacoma as well. It is a multi-use facility for varsity athletics basketball and volleyball, and can accommodate open recreation activities such as basketball, badminton, pickleball, and volleyball.
