Dear Faculty & Staff Colleagues,

As we begin the new plan year for flexible benefits, we want to remind you how to access information and resources for each of our service providers. Benefits elections went into effect January 1, so it is a fitting time to log into the vendor sites to review and confirm the benefits elections you made during Open Enrollment. Below you will find links to our various health plan providers and login instructions for accessing your accounts.

Please note that you will likely need to register and/or create an account if this is your first time signing-in to the below websites. Any questions or concerns regarding account registration for our vendors should be directed through their website and/or customer service departments (contact information on p.15 of the benefits guide).

  • Premera Medical & Dental Plans
    • Once signed in to Premera, you can confirm your coverage by selecting “Benefits & Coverage” on the toolbar and then navigating to “Benefit Details”.
    • Health Reimbursement Account (HRA):
      • Premera will track the amount remaining in your HRA. Your available balance will be indicated on your Explanation of Benefits (EOB) statement. You can also call Premera Customer Service (1.800.722.1471) for updates on your HRA balance, especially after using your funds towards prescription drugs which do not generate an EOB.
      • Please note that roll-over balances from 2021 are not yet reflected and account balances will be reconciled in Spring 2022.
    • Tip: Member ID cards are available to be printed and/or mailed via the landing page.
  • Vision Service Plan (VSP)
    • Navigate to “Benefits” on the toolbar and “My Benefits” to confirm level of benefits coverage.
  • WEX FSA Administrator
    • Once signed-in to your WEX account, you will be directed to the landing page which will provide a summary of your account balance and available services.

Benefit elections updates can only be made outside of the annual Open Enrollment period if you experience a Qualifying Life Event. More information regarding this, along with our 2022 benefit offerings, are available on Puget Sound’s Benefits Site and in the attached booklet.

Please reach out to benefits@pugetsound.edu if you have any questions or concerns regarding your 2022 benefit elections as soon as practicable.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,
Ian
