Dear Faculty and Staff Colleagues:
The University of Puget Sound and United Way of Pierce County (UWPC) once again are joining forces through the workplace giving program to fight the complex challenges of poverty and racism in our community.
UWPC drives change by creating strategic partnerships among businesses, nonprofits, and the private sector, and harnessing the generosity, talent, and energy of local individuals and families. Each of us at Puget Sound has the choice to support that effort through voluntary workplace giving.
One hundred percent of every dollar donated to UWPC goes to helping people in Pierce County. Here is a quick peek at United Way’s work: https://www.uwpc.org/.
Be on the lookout for your Fall Campaign Pledge email this week, and please consider how you can support the United Way to be part of a better future for Pierce County.
United, we can do great things!
Sincerely,
Liz Collins | Community Liaison Officer and Special Assistant to the President
