Dear Members of the Campus Community,
On Tuesday, Sept. 24, distinguished author and scientist Robin Wall Kimmerer will present the Swope Endowed Lectureship on Faith, Ethics, Values, and Religion. Kimmerer is the author of the award-winning book Braiding Sweetgrass. Kimmerer will present “Restoration and Reciprocity: Healing Relationships with the Natural World” followed by a reception and book signing in the Rasmussen Rotunda in the Wheelock Student Center.

Tickets are required for entry, however, there is no cost to attend for students, faculty, and staff. Tickets are $5 for community members and are available online or at the Logger Store in Wheelock Student Center.
The Swope Lecture Series was created by Major Ianthe Swope as a tribute to her mother, Jane Hammer Swope ’42. This series invites renowned guest speakers to Puget Sound with the mission of promoting critical thinking, ethical inquiry, and open dialogue.
