Dear Members of the Campus Community,

I write with mixed emotions today to share with you that Sandra Braedt, our Title IX Coordinator and Equal Opportunity Officer, will be leaving Puget Sound in order to accept a position with Grand River Solutions, a firm specializing in Title IX and compliance within higher education. Her last day with Puget Sound will be Feb. 3, 2025, but she will always be a Logger.

We are deeply appreciative of Sandra’s commitment to Puget Sound during her time with us. Most recently leading us through an overhaul of Puget Sound’s Policy Prohibiting Discrimination, Harassment, and/or Sexual Misconduct in order to align with new federal regulations, Sandra has been a tireless advocate of the right of all Loggers to live, work, and learn on a safe and inclusive campus.

More details on the interim leadership of the Title IX/Equal Opportunity office and the search process for new leadership will be forthcoming in the new year. In the meantime, I hope you will join me in offering appreciation to Sandra for her dedicated service to Puget Sound.

Sincerely,

Sarah Rush Comstock | Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students
