Winter Break Parking

Greetings Loggers,

I hope that you all are doing well and enjoying our fall weather in Tacoma. It is hard to believe it is almost the end of October and as we get closer to Winter Break I wanted to update everyone on campus about parking. As in previous years, Security Services will install a fence around Parking Lot One near the Wheelock Student Center for Residence Hall students who would like to leave their vehicles on campus over break.

The cost of parking in the fenced-in lot will be $85.00 per vehicle. Any University of Puget Sound residential student can leave their vehicle in the fenced-in area starting the week of Dec. 09, 2024, until Jan. 13, 2025. If you are returning after Jan. 13, 2025, your vehicle can remain in the parking lot until you return to campus.

Beginning the week of Nov. 11, 2024, please visit Security Services to reserve your parking space for Winter Break. If you need to have your vehicle removed from the fenced-in lot before Jan. 13, 2025, please make arrangements with Security Services when making your initial reservation.

Any time you park on campus, even in a fenced lot, you are parking at your own risk. It is highly recommended that students utilize the fenced parking lot over Winter Break to reduce the chances of vehicles being broken into.
