Greg Hearns

Technical Director, Schneebeck Concert Hall

Greg Hearns joined the School of Music as concert hall technical director in August 2021. Prior to his position at the University of Puget Sound, he was Director of media services at Northwest University and taught classes in live sound as an adjunct faculty member until 2022. For 17 years, he was an acoustics, audio, lighting and video design build consultant for large facilities, including designing the sound system for Cheney Stadium in Tacoma. He graduated from The Art Institute in Seattle with an Associates Degree in audio production and studied drafting and design technology at Seattle Community College. He currently is the audio engineer for the Seattle-based R&B/soul group Kalimba.
