Kelsey Eldridge

Visiting Assistant Professor, Art and Art History

Professor Eldridge ‘12 earned her Ph.D. at the Department of the History of Art and Architecture at Harvard University in 2023. She served as Tyler Fellow and Museum Intern at Dumbarton Oaks Research Library and Collection, and held a Graduate Fellow position for Fall 2018 at the Villa i Tatti, The Harvard University Center for Italian Renaissance Studies in Florence to pursue research on her dissertation entitled, Imitations of Empire: Porphyry Sarcophagi in Byzantium and Beyond. Her research explores Byzantine material culture in the medieval and early modern Italian peninsula. Professor Eldridge is also interested in numismatics and sigillography, and has held positions in Coins and Seals at the Harvard Art Museum and Dumbarton Oaks. She holds a BA in Art History and Comparative Religion from the University of Puget Sound, and an MA in Art History from the University of Washington.
