* The Developing Specialty as an internship activity is described in the Training Content section of this website.

Counseling, Health & Wellness Services turned to the singular training of Pre-Doctoral Interns in 2000. Before 2000, we had many other fine counselors, social workers, and psychologists train with us part-time. From 1986-1999, our trainees were an eclectic mix of:

  • Master’s students in counseling doing their clinical field placements.
  • Early doctoral students preparing for application to pre-doctoral internships.
  • Post-doctoral residents completing supervised hours towards psychologist licensure.
  • MA and MSW professionals completing supervised hours towards counselor licensure.
  • MA-level professionals preparing for application to doctoral programs.
