The Office for Intercultural Engagement in cooperation with Access Programs and the Logger First Gen Network affirm and honor the journey of students who are the first in their family to attain a bachelor’s or advanced degree. A first-generation college student is defined as someone whose parents did not obtain a 4-year college or university degree.
