Loggers Keep Learning Washington, D.C.
President Isiaah Crawford invites alumni and parents to join him for Loggers Keep Learning in Washington, D.C.
This event is a great opportunity to connect and network with the Logger community and hear campus updates. You'll also get to be a lifelong learner by engaging in a presentation from Nick Brody, Associate Professor and Chair of Communication Studies.
Topic: Screens and Selves: Self-Presentation and Relationships in the Digital Age
Who are you, and how do you know? As we spend more time communicating through smartphones and computers, we increasingly construct our identities and form impressions of others through our use of technology. We'll explore research that investigates how technology affects our personal narratives, influences our relationships, and impacts our understanding of ourselves and others in the digital age.
Appetizers and refreshments are included. Reception begins at 5:30 p.m. and the presentation starts at 6 p.m.
Please submit your RSVP by Wednesday, September 18.
We hope to see you there!
