Mini Maestros: The Great String Thing-a-Machine

Each concert highlights a different 'family' of instruments in the orchestra using a curriculum prepared by Early Childhood Learning experts and introduced by educator and emcee, Shay Ryan. There is an instrument petting zoo prior to the concert, which gives children an opportunity to explore the instruments up close. Join us for this concert to learn about and experience music played by stringed instruments in the orchestra.  Come early to participate in the instrument petting zoo at 1:30 p.m. in Schneebeck Concert Hall PURCHASE TICKETS ONLINE FROM SYMPHONY TACOMA The Community Music Department at the University of Puget Sound is a year-round program offering music lessons and classes to members of the public of all ages.
