It’s never too early to eat dinner for breakfast  It’s never too early to pack for a trip (right?)  It’s never too early to start thinking about what’s next after your time at the University of Puget Sound  And it’s never too early to start looking for internships, even if said internship isn’t until next summer. Especially if said internship is next summer  With that said, we welcome and invite you to come meet some great organizations and companies that will be on campus on October 30, from 4-6 p.m. for our event: Start Strong: Fall Internship Fair. These organizations will be looking to meet incredible people like you to share and talk about some of the valuable internship opportunities they have. As you may (or may not ) know, many companies begin looking for their next spring and summer interns now. Like, now-now. So, don’t get caught up waiting for those seasons to arrive thinking you’ll start searching for that internship then. The ship will have likely already sailed. And like we mentioned above…it’s never too early. Right? READ ON  Download the Handshake app in advance so you can check in with employers and share your resume or contact information. You’re welcome to attend the fair to browse, but if you’re seeking opportunities, the keys to a successful Internship Fair experience are preparation and follow up. Here’s a checklist to help you prepare: Research participating employers through Handshake. Follow your favorites to get notifications about their opportunities. Have your resume reviewed: Schedule an appointment with a CES advisor M–F, 7–6 p.m. Then, upload the best version of your resume to your Handshake profile. Prepare your 30-second introduction.
