Kelsey Craig is an International Political Economy major from Portland, Oregon. During her summers back home, Kesley served as a summer school teacher, working with refugee students in elementary and secondary schools. On campus, Kelsey participated in Gamma Phi Beta sorority and was a member of the crew team for two years. Using Uganda as her central case study, Kelsey's thesis, Social and Economic Integration of Refugee Populations in Low-Income Countries, examines the global refugee crisis by applying two commonly applied models of refugee aid in low-income countries: the care and maintenance approach, and the self-reliance approach.
