Through gallery exhibitions and artist lectures focused on expanding student's exposure to core issues in contemporary art, Kittredge Gallery serves as a teaching tool for the Puget Sound Art Department. It supports the liberal arts curriculum of the university as a whole. With its history of strong exhibitions by regional and nationally recognized artists, Kittredge Gallery also contributes to the Pacific Northwest's broader cultural community.
Housed in Kittredge Hall near the northeast edge of campus, the gallery comprises two exhibition spaces, the Large and Small Galleries. Shows rotate monthly from September through May. Gallery exhibitions and artist lectures are free and open to the public. Kittredge Gallery is wheelchair accessible.
