Sponsored by the University of Puget Sound Women’s League, the annual Fieldhouse Flea Market will be held on Saturday, March 23. Offering everything from 100-year-old antiques to freshly baked bread, the Fieldhouse Flea Market regularly attracts roughly 4,000 visitors.
“This is a fabulous community event, now in its 51st year, that has something for everyone,” says Kris Hay, Puget Sound Women’s League communications co-chair. “Whether you go for the food, the antiques, the rummage deals, the hand-crafted art, or just the camaraderie, you’re sure to find treasure.”
The market's stalwart is the beloved Women's League booths—Jewelry, Boutique, Books, and Grandma's Attic—that embody the Flea Market spirit with bargains galore. The market also includes a wonderful range of more than 75 local vendors and makers who will be selling antiques, junktique, re-purposed, household items, jewelry, artisan crafts, gourmet treats, and much more.
The Fieldhouse Flea Market is the largest annual fundraising event organized by volunteers from the Puget Sound Women’s League. It has been held since 1968, after a league member traveled to Paris, France, and was inspired by a visit to a flea market there. Proceeds from admission to the market go toward need-based scholarships for Puget Sound students.
