The goal of the comprehensive program review is to make sure we are aligning our work and our resources to best support our mission, achieve our strategic goals, and secure a sound future. It will help us identify areas for future investment, as well as ways we might become more efficient and effective in executing our work together.
At its February meeting, the Board of Trustees expressed its support for my recommendation to undertake this comprehensive review at this time. The Board Chair’s report to the campus community following the meeting included a summary of the board’s actions related to the planned review, and campus community members can also access the full Board Resolution for more information. I encourage you to review this information in advance of tomorrow’s town hall.
We must make thoughtful, purposeful, sustainable and long-term decisions that are informed by data; grounded in our mission; and benefit from the participation, insight and wisdom of our campus community. We are ready to share more about this process with you and respond to your questions. I hope you can join us.
