Dear Campus Community,
As we approach Veterans Day, a time to honor the brave individuals who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces, I am reminded of the profound significance this day holds for me personally. My grandfather and both of my parents proudly served in the military and their dedication to our country informed my values of hard work and service, and instilled in me a deep appreciation for the sacrifices made by our veterans.
I would like to extend an invitation to our faculty, staff, and students who are veterans, active duty service members, have family members who are veterans, or are otherwise a part of the military community to attend a special luncheon in honor of Veterans Day this Friday, Nov. 10, from noon to 1 p.m. in Rasmussen Rotunda. This event, hosted by the Center for Student Support, will provide a space to connect, reflect, and honor the vital contributions of our veterans.
To all of you who have answered the call to service—thank you. Please know that we deeply appreciate your dedication on behalf of our nation.
With gratitude,
Isiaah Crawford, Ph.D. | President
