Established in 2002 in honor of President Emerita Susan Resneck Pierce, this lecture series brings intellectuals, writers, and artists of high recognition in public affairs and the arts to Puget Sound. I’d like to extend my thanks to the Pierce Lectures in the Arts and Public Affairs Advisory Groups — faculty members Lea Fortmann, Jairo Hoyos Galvis, Lisa Johnson, Priti Joshi, Sam Liao, Janet Marcavage, and Renee Simms—for their thoughtful work in selecting engaging speakers to enrich our campus community.
I look forward to seeing you at the lecture.
Sincerely,
Isiaah Crawford, Ph.D. | President
