Diversions Café serves not only as a comfortable place to study and socialize, but also as a place where students have an opportunity to get the work experience necessary for success after graduation. The Café is student-managed and employs 30+ students; this creates an important relationship between Diversions Café and the campus community. This is a unique opportunity for students to develop, enhance, and showcase their talent in a very popular spot on campus.
We are looking for unique, energetic individuals who work well in a team atmosphere to uphold the fast, friendly service that our customers have come to expect from the Café. Coffee experience is preferred, but is not necessarily required.
Job Duties:
- Prepare espresso drinks and other beverages
- Serve food items
- Set up and restock food items
- Maintain cleanliness of Café areas
- Perform cashier duties
- Attend staff meetings
- Provide welcoming customer service
