Hello, neighbor!

Welcome, Tacoma!  Our campus is located in the North End neighborhood of Tacoma, just south of Point Defiance park and near Commencement Bay. We keep campus groomed and blooming year-round, not just for our students, but for the entire Tacoma community! Have you visited Puget Sound yet?

Did you know?

University of Puget Sound is the oldest college in Tacoma! Founded in 1888, our campus is part of Tacoma’s history. We were also voted the third most beautiful campus in the country!

Consider us your extended backyard, complete with state-of-the-art track, multiple cafés with excellent coffee at very affordable prices, lush hills perfect for picnicking, and plenty of cozy nooks for studying, writing, and working.

Most of our sporting events, movie screenings, music and theater performances, lectures from visiting speakers, art exhibits, and other events are open to the public, and many are free for TPS students with their student ID.
