Congratulations! Now that you are graduating, you'll be wrapping up many responsibilities as a student and preparing for a new future. Part of this preparation needs to include planning for repayment of your educational loans.
To finalize your PLUS Loan requirements, you need to complete an online loan exit counseling session. You will log in using your Federal Student Aid ID and password. We will receive confirmation after you have completed the session.
Who's my PLUS loan servicer?
Visit studentaid.gov/servicer to learn about the role that student loan servicers play in the repayment process and which servicer handles your PLUS loan.
It is possible that you have more than one lender, which means you will have more than one lender to repay. Loans received while enrolled at Puget Sound prior to Summer 2009 were associated with a number of different lenders, such as Sallie Mae, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, etc. Loans received Summer 2009 and later are Federal Direct Loans where the federal government serves as the lender. The terms and conditions are very similar although there are some differences in repayment plans and borrower benefits.
