Puget Sound's graduate scholarship program is composed of a limited number of named scholarships provided through the financial commitments of alumni and friends. These named scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis to students who meet the specific selection criteria established by the donors. Scholarship recipients are chosen by the department faculty; no separate application is required.
- Barbara Albertson-Johnson Scholarship: awarded to an MAT student in the elementary program who has financial need
- Lilla Baarslag Endowed Scholarship: awarded to a female student returning to complete an MAT degree
- Campbell Science-Teacher Scholarship: awarded to an MAT student who plans to teach science
- Mary Anne Palo Gray Scholarship: awarded to a graduating Puget Sound female senior, preference to a member of a sorority
- Nyberg Scholarship: awarded to a student planning a career in elementary education
- Raymond Powell Endowed Scholarship: awarded to students planning to teach in a public school
- Fred & Johanna Radmaker Scholarship: awarded to students in the MAT program who wish to teach at the elementary level
- Janet Tait Scholarship: awarded to a student planning a career in elementary education
- Edith G. Bowditch Education: awarded to students in the MAT program
- Nettie Lowther Memorial: awarded to MAT students who have undergraduate degrees in science and who plan to teach in elementary school
- Schlesinger Family Foundation Scholarship Fund: awarded to one or more students enrolled in the Master of Arts in Teaching program.
