An Online Cannabis Assessment Tool and Personalized Feedback for Puget Sound Students
In collaboration with Counseling, Health, and Wellness Services, Puget Sound’s Substance Misuse Prevention Program offers students free access to the eCHECKUP TO GO, an evidence-based online prevention intervention. This tool provides personalized feedback that helps to show: individual use patterns, specific health and personal consequences, unique personal and family risk factors, as well as specific campus and community support and emergency services. The e-TOKE is a brief assessment tool that takes 10-15 minutes to complete, is self-guided, requires no face-to-face contact with a counselor, and is completely anonymous. You can take it once or on multiple occasions to track changes in your alcohol use (just remember to keep your e-TOKE identification number). The program is available to the Puget Sound community including students, faculty, staff, and parents.
When you access the e-TOKE, you will be prompted to enter some demographic information and information about your personal cannabis use. After all the information has been entered, you will submit the form and the information will be processed. Your responses will then be compared to national and Puget Sound college student norms. Your personalized feedback will then be displayed in a standard format.
Your participation in the e-CHUG is voluntary unless you have been mandated to complete it as part of a conduct sanction. You may withdraw from participating at any time. The Puget Sound e-TOKE is serviced through a secure website at San Diego State University.
The e-TOKE is anonymous and no individual information is kept or provided to the University of Puget Sound.
If you have questions about the survey, feedback, or information presented please contact CHWS Prevention Specialist at chws@pugetsound.edu
