2024’s Program Theme Is "Global Citizen, Local Leader"

What does global citizenship have to do with local leadership? The ideals of global citizenship and civic interdependence are made real through personal behaviors, consumer choices, political action, and social engagement close to home. Most people have the greatest leverage in the communities where they live and work. FYI offers an excellent way for our incoming students to explore and think critically about how each of us has opportunities to, every day, build strong, healthy, equitable campuses, communities, and countries.

PROGRAM DATES: AUGUST 13, 2024 - AUGUST 22, 2024

FYI participants will move into their permanent residence halls on Monday August 12, with program activities beginning on August 13.

If you are an FYI participant, please check your @pugetsound email regularly for updates on the program.
