Join us for music lessons! All community music courses are open to the public. No academic credit is offered for lessons and classes.

Concerts & Events

The School of Music produces a wide variety of events, more than 100 annually, that feature faculty, students, ensembles, chamber groups, and guest artists. We are also pleased to offer the option to stream many events online, through Schneebeck LIVE!

Annual Concerto-Aria Competition

The University of Puget Sound Concerto-Aria Competition has been an honored tradition in the School of Music since 1981. Students participate each year in this competitive program that highlights their work as musical soloists. Instrumental and vocal competitors prepare their chosen solos for a competition audition. Winners are offered the opportunity to perform as soloists with the School of Music’s Symphony Orchestra or Wind Ensemble. Information on past winners and future competitions can be found here.
