CWL Study Marathons

Snowed in by finals? Hunker down in the CWL!

The CWL will be open on Sunday, 12/14 and Monday, 12/15, from 11 a.m. - 11 p.m. both days for their bi-annual Study Marathons! Come study, attend a drop-in hour, schedule an appointment, or take a study break decorating cookies, making a fancy hot chocolate, and more.

Last Night of Classes ASUPS Special Event aka Grizz’s Winter Bash and Mistletoast

The annual end of semester event features horse-drawn carriage rides, cakes celebrating birthdays, pizzas donated by Farelli’s, tarot readings and a new addition of a community mural painting led by JOANNE TAWFILIS, PH.D, muralist and cofounder of the ART MILES MURAL PROJECT, which she stated over 25 years ago while in Bosnia heading a United Nations project to help lift widows out of their trauma with projects of economic independence.

Summer Research Information Session

Interested in taking a deep dive into a research project this summer? Apply for a Summer Research grant! Summer researchers spend 10 weeks completing a summer research project with the support and guidance of a faculty advisor. These students receive a $4,000+ grant and are eligible for supply funding to support their project.

Spikeball Formal

Join us on Dec. 11 from 7-9 p.m. for some fun at our club's Spikeball Formal! Grab your friends for a spectacular evening of spikeball, live music, tournament or casual play, and games including pickleball, tennis, and cornhole. Dress up a little—just comfortably enough to play. We'll have a prize giveaway throughout the night, with light drinks and snacks provided. Hosted in the Tennis Pavilion with a $5 entry fee (pay on-site)—all proceeds support charity. 

Opp After Dark

Join us next Monday at Oppenheimer Cafe for our semesterly Opp After Dark! Grab hot cocoa, play some games, decorate cookies and have fun with friends! We can't wait to see you there! 

Suzuki Piano Student Recital

Join us for a student piano recital featuring students of Suzuki piano instructor, Jacqueline Block, from the University of Puget Sound's Community Music Department. Young soloists will perform piano music from the Suzuki repertoire. 

This is a free event and open to the public. No tickets required.

South Sound Strings Harp Ensemble Christmas Concert

This concert will feature festive holiday music performed by the South Sound Strings Harp Ensemble, directed by Patricia Wooster. Harpists in the ensemble include children, teens, and adults.  We hope you will join us on December 13 at 7pm in Wheelock Student Center Rasmussen Rotunda (note this new location).  

This is a free concert, open to the public. No tickets are required.
