The Associated Students of the University of Puget Sound (ASUPS) is Puget Sound’s student government. With authority granted by the Board of Trustees, ASUPS seeks to provide a student voice through representation, foster a sense of community among students, and execute the official business of the student body.
ASUPS advances this charge with over 70 active student clubs that promote community and belonging on campus; six student-run media organizations that inform, engage, illustrate, and inspire the student body through publication and broadcast; a team of programmers who work to put on a fun and enriching events for the campus and local community; a variety of services, including an Emergency Fund to financially support students facing emergencies; and a network of student leaders representing student needs at all levels of the university’s system of shared governance.
