Jacobsen Series Concert: Caroline Chin, violin and Laura Melton, piano
The School of Music is pleased to welcome guest artists Caroline Chin, violin and Laura Melton, piano, for a concert performance at 2 p.m. The program will include works by Debussy, Boulanger, Stacey Garrop, and John Corigliano.
All are invited to a reception following the program in the concert hall lobby hosted by the SAI international music organization.
Tickets: $20, general; $15 sr. citizen, military, Puget Sound faculty, staff, and Community Music participants.

Bird Feeder Workshop
Come hangout in the Trimble Forum and make a bird feeder using simple supplies (all materials provided!) Also, learn about conservation and local bird types from our special guest, Peter Hodum! (First come, first serve, while supplies last.)
Jazz Lunch: Nathan Breedlove Trio
By popular demand, a redux performance by twice-Grammy nominated trumpeter Nathan Breedlove. A former leader of the pioneering ska band of the 90's, "The Skatalites", Breedlove has crossed over many musical genres and has shared the stage with names you know - Hampton, Marsalis, McBride, and Cohen. World Music Concert: TRIO GUADALEVIN
Since 2014, Trio Guadalevin has literally traversed the parts of the world which taken their unique sound to stages all across America, both entertaining and educating their audiences to the musical connections ranging from the Mediterranean to Mexico, employing a wealth of instruments and techniques which reimagine the musical dialogue between indigenous, European and African cultures.
Rona Yellowrobe, Native American Heritage Month concert/lecture
Singer/songwriter and 2014 and 2016 Native American Music Award winning Flute Player of the Year, accompanied by guitarist Bruce Witham, they've recorded four award-winning albums and have performed on stages nationwide and abroad. They have always said, "We will perform for 5 or 1,500", and have done both. For Rona and Bruce, it's all about blessing people's lives with the music...created with the intention to inspire, uplift, and fill the listener with peace, hope, and happiness, leading to visions of joy, love, and prosperity.
