New Core in 2024

Graduation requirements '23 Vs. 24

Graduation requirements for the 2024-2025 academic year have changed!

Review the Overview of the New Core and then consult with your advisor or advisors in our office to learn whether the new core is a better choice for you.

Our video comparing the new core to the 2023 graduation requirements is also an excellent tool to see how the new core compares to the requirements from last year.

ADVISING AT REGISTRATION

For assistance with course planning, academic support, and to have your advisor meeting hold released, connect with your faculty advisor. Students who need help with PeopleSoft, should reach out to Technology Services.  Advisors in Academic Advising are also available to support you.

Incoming First-year and new transfer students have the benefit of extra support when it comes to getting registered! First time in college students select their tentative courses in the summer via the Academic Placement Questionnaire (APQ) we send you. Tentative schedules are then checked by Academic Advising before they are released to you in early August. You meet your faculty and peer advisor during Passages week to review the tentative plan and finalize your fall course schedule. For Spring 2025 registration, students register themselves for courses but their faculty and academic peer advisors provide special events and guidance to support the registration process.
Transfer students are guided through the course planning and registration process by Undergraduate Advisor, Najhan Bell.
