Donor Relations

University of Puget Sound
1500 N. Warner St. #1011

The Office of Donor Relations works to acknowledge, recognize, and steward gifts made by alumni, parents, friends, and other donors to the college.

On any given day there are 2,647 students on campus, each one of them has a story - stories that have been influenced by the generosity of donors to the University of Puget Sound. Gifts matter - and your gift matters tremendously.

Acknowledgement
All gifts to the university are acknowledged to let donors know that their financial support is gratefully received and is being used according to their expectations.

Recognition
Donors are recognized in meaningful ways through personal visits, invitations to campus, annual donor recognition events, and thank-you letters from students.

Reporting
Regular reports on fund performance and what their gifts have made possible show donors their gifts are invested wisely.

  • Each year, a stewardship report detailing the fair market value and distribution of each endowed fund is sent to donors who have contributed to the fund.
  • Donors supporting endowed scholarships also receive the names and a brief biography of each recipient of their scholarship fund.
  • Each spring, scholarship donors are invited to campus to one of our annual scholarship luncheons to meet their recipients and enjoy time together.
