Wheelock Student Center is the cocurricular hub of campus. There you find the Associated Students of the University of Puget Sound (ASUPS), the student government body which oversees over 100 programs, clubs and associations. KUPS-FM, the Trail (the student newspaper), Crosscurrents (the student literary magazine), and Tamanawas (the student annual) are some of the student media and programs found in this building. Additionally, the Dean of Students office holds regular office hours to address student concerns and issues.
Wheelock contains three campus eateries that serve everything from pasta to bagels: the Diner (food servery), the student-operated pizza eatery known as the Cellar, and the student-operated Diversions Cafe. Wheelock is the place to find out about various campus events at the Information Center, stock up on supplies at the Bookstore, or use the Counseling, Health and Wellness Services for everything from physicals to flu shots.
