Notice for Bondholders

Sept. 21, 2021 -- After more than three decades of outstanding service to Puget Sound, Sherry Mondou plans to conclude her service as University of Puget  Sound’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer on July 1, 2022, and formally retire on Jan. 1, 2023 following a period of sabbatical and project-based work. During her time at Puget Sound Ms. Mondou has shepherded the university through ever-changing economic conditions, worked closely with trustees to oversee significant growth in the university’s endowment, partnered with others to implement an inspiring 20-year campus master plan that transformed Puget Sound’s physical campus, and provided exceptionally strong leadership to help the institution achieve strategic objectives and, in recent months, to navigate the pandemic. I deeply appreciate her commitment to remain with us throughout 2022 to support our comprehensive academic, administrative and auxiliary program review process and other key initiatives. An extensive national search will commence this fall, with the expectation that a new executive leader will be in place by summer 2022. – Isiaah Crawford, Ph.D., President
