Part of the "North Quad" of residence halls, Schiff Hall is named after Helen Harrington Schiff and was built in 1962. Mrs. Schiff was a member of the University of Puget Sound Board of Trustees 1957-1971. The adjoining Harrington Hall is named for Mrs. Schiff's mother, Margaret Harrington. Both women gave $100,000 to the university.
