Paid and unpaid, for academic credit and not, internships are a great way to gain experience and prepare yourself for the challenges of not just of landing a job but of building a life. They offer a chance to extend your knowledge and apply what you’ve learned in the classroom to the real world. You can also take what you’ve learned at your internship, bring it back to the classroom, and analyze it — to make the experience more meaningful than any single entry on your resume can convey.
Guided by the Office of Career and Employment Services (CES), you can connect with career-related internships locally and across the country. The CES staff invites you to use their wealth of information and resources to search for internships that will enrich your college experience and get you closer to your future goals.
