The Sustainability Advisory Committee welcomes applications for projects that will advance the university's sustainability efforts and improve the university's rating under the Sustainability Tracking Assessment and Rating System (STARS). A project should either be research that is connected to our current campus sustainability initiatives, or a well-designed experiment on a small scale with measurable outcomes. In either case, the ability to evaluate regarding wider institutional adoption after the conclusion of the grant is essential. A faculty or staff advisor is required for all proposals.
Complete the sustainability grant proposal form and submit to John Hickey, hickey@pugetsound.edu. Applications are due April 15th of each year.
Proposals are evaluated based on its ability to advance the university's sustainability efforts, the strength of its design, educational component, feasibility, and sustainable longevity.
