In Physics 322 students work independently on three experiments, each lasting roughly one month. In addition to keeping a detailed lab notebook, one written report and one oral presentation are required by the end of the term. Recent projects include the following:

  1. Cavendish Balance
  2. Black Body Radiation
  3. Brownian Motion
  4. X-ray Diffraction
  5. Surface Plasmon Resonances
  6. Electronic Speckle Pattern Interferometry
  7. Thermoelectric Effect
  8. Faraday Effect
  9. Helium-Neon Laser Modes
